The Idea Of  online patient education and creating  this Website came to my mind when i first heard the words of one of my mentors, namely Dr. Cooley, Saying “Many people take better care of their cars than their bodies”. People take care of changing their oil, using the proper gasoline type , cleaning their cars and carefully reading their car manuals. Do they do the same with their bodies? The answer is a big NO. They keep eating high caloric and high fat diet, they do not do regular checkups and they do not educate themselves about different diseases and healthy lifestyles.

Most of us consider ourselves healthy, as long as we are not experiencing symptoms of illness. However, sometimes the first noticeable symptom of a disease is quite dangerous and damage has already occurred. Thus, it is important to be aware of the risk factors for different disease conditions and to take the necessary steps to reduce your risk. Simply by controlling one or more of your risk factors, you can add months and possibly years to your life.”
